Robert Howarth became a REALTOR® after investing in and renovating distressed properties during the Great Recession.  He had spent several years working in Europe, followed by running a small import business which took him across the globe.  

Rob’s fluency in Italian and German, his successful representation of international real estate clients, as well as intensive course work qualified him to become a Certified International Property Specialist, a designation he has held since 2015.  He is one of a few REALTORS® in the Upstate of South Carolina with this designation.  Rob also holds the At Home with Diversity Certification.  

Rob is a member of Upstate International, where he leads a monthly Italian Conversation and Culture Group.   

A native of Gainesville, Ga., Rob attended Georgia Tech and the University of Georgia, receiving a BS in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech.  While in college, he volunteered for the US Army Reserves where he became part of a Special Forces unit.
